FRANCO AFRO
Branding and website.
To name and brand a record label whose founders originate from France and Southern Africa.
They saw the same love for music in each other and the ‘fr’ elements in the type denote this; they are the same. In the icon, the two circles reference turntables and records.
The Approach
The idea behind the website was simple. Add your Spotify URL to the home page and the site would suggest records from artists, similar to the ones you listen to on Spotify, but haven't played yet. Independent record stores would then send you the vinyls. Playing the records on vinyl forces you to listen to them in the order the artists intended, allowing you to reconnect with the music you love.
